Red Hat Developer Subscriptions
April 10, 2017
It’s been just over a year now that the no-cost developer subscriptions for Red Hat Enterprise Linux have been readily available. These self-supported subscriptions are for development only and can easily be converted to Red Hat Enterprise Linux standard subscriptions whenever development is complete and you are ready for production.
In order to take advantage of this exciting offer, you need to signup for the Red Hat Developer Program. There is no-cost to signup for your Red Hat Developer Program account and by doing so you will gain access to all of the following:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server
The world’s leading Enterprise Linux Platform.
- Complete Set of Development Tools
Including GCC, Python, PHP, Node.js, Ruby, Java and more!
- Red Hat Container Development Kit (CDK)
Container tools for working with Docker, Vagrant and OpenShift.
You are no longer required to purchase a Standard Subscription to run and develop applications on RHEL. You can develop your application on RHEL free using your Red Hat Developer account. Once the time comes to move your application into production, you can upgrade to a Standard Subscription.
